well, that makes me feel better.
Jan. 22nd, 2007 09:39 pmThanks to Susie Bright, I found out that it's not just me. Today is simply the worst day of the year, period. (Note that that article is from 2005, but the formula goes by week rather than calendar date and so they speak about 'Monday 24 January').
It's nice to have something to pin it on, no matter how stupid. It's like how every year there's one particular day (I won't reveal the date) which ends up sucking. Every year so far, really, and I never remember until that year's crappy interpersonal fiasco (and historically it has always been an interpersonal fiasco) occurs. And as much as it sucks, there's this tiny consolation in believing that it was cosmically destined to suck no matter what (even though I don't believe in astrological bullshit.)
Incidentally, things began looking up around noon today. Yay for things looking up.
