back in the day when free will marriages weren't allowed, as in arranged marriages were the fad. a priest named saint valentine would marry people in secret. then valentine got caught and they tossed the mofo in jail. whilst in jail, he fell in love with the jailors daughter. and thusly in the warmth of amore (love) he'd write her long letters declaring his love and shit... and he'd sign it "your Valentine", becuase thats the way you signed letters and shit. its like sincerely danny aka your danny.
and thats all i can recall. and i guess because valetine was a saint/priest... that leans on christian stuff. cause i think jewish heirarchy ladder uses like rabbis or something.
but yea. i dont give a fuck buot valentines day. maybe cause i'm single...but really... its just another day like christmas... and the 12 days of hannukah. or however many days. pardon.
