I really want to see Mad Men. It's about high-level advertising execs in the 1960s in NYC.  My mother worked in advertising agencies in NYC in the 60s until she couldn't stand it anymore.  She's told me stuff about women sleeping their way to the top and whatnot, but an entire TV show about the social climate sounds innnnteresting.

Edit:  Okay, so I watched the first episode.  It's exactly as I'd read: well-done, but really fucking depressing if the picture it paints is anywhere near correct.
