Aug. 21st, 2007 09:25 pmHaircut, one week from today at 6:15 pm. I am planning to have short hair for the first time in 20 years. It's a little strange being able to say "for the first time in 20 years" in reference to myself.
I'd dig up a picture of me the last time I had short hair, but someone's folding massage table is wedged in front of the cabinet where we keep pictures. My house is delightfully random, except when it's just undelightfully cluttered.
Today I realized that less than four years ago I found the idea of dating a person with a tattoo absolutely shocking. I don't feel that way at all anymore (I think some tattoos and some people with tattoos are just swell, though I doubt I'd ever get a tattoo myself), but I'm not sure how or when I changed. I guess I've loosened up a bunch. It's a good thing, as Martha Stewart would say. Well, maybe not about tattoos, but she is fond of that expression.
I also had an interesting realization about smoking and how I relate to smokers (which hasn't changed at all in the past few years, really), but I'm too brainfried to do it justice at the moment.
