(no subject)

I've often wondered why nothing like the seemingly-defunct Fairtunes (a digital tip jar for recording artists) existed. (Link goes to a Time Magazine article from 2002; don't go to the supposed fairtunes website because it's now just a parked domain that will do wacky things to your browser.)

I'm still trying to figure out exactly why it didn't stay around, though.
