Know what really brightens my day?  Getting a jury duty summons! 

I don't actually mind being at the courthouse for a day, I just don't like the commitment.  (I suppose I'm making assumptions based on my single jury duty experience two years ago, where I did not get selected for a case that would have lasted only 1 day anyhow.) What if I want to be away that day or something? 

Heh, apparently Dance of the Hours is the piece that Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh's music is taken from.  Haven't heard this in awhile.

Brownies are tasty. I made them with butter, which is kind of a new thing for me.  I grew up using margarine in almost everything so that it'd be parve (non-dairy) and it took me a while to get out of that habit. 

I am amazingly skilled at finding reasons to put off important phone calls:  "It's probably dinner time in their time zone!  I don't want to call during dinner time; that's rude!"  Which it is, a little, but it's not like I couldn't have made the phone call in the three hours before that...
