Yoga

Going to yoga tonight was an excellent, excellent idea. Inviting my mother to come with me was a less excellent idea because she stayed and talked to the instructor for half an hour afterwards, so I'll go on my own next time.  I'll also make sure my yoga pants are clean and unwrinkled, which I...didn't do tonight. 

Doing yoga helped me relax just enough to realize how f*cking unrelaxed and uptight I've been constantly for the past several months.  When I was working at Doggie Daycare, I got an enormous amount of exercise without having to put thought to it, which helped me not get tense.  Now the combination of tedious, monotonous work, no exercise, and mental stress are really doing a number on me.  So yoga!  Yoga is the answer.  And more exercise.  Maybe I'll start walking to the metro again in the mornings instead of taking the bus.  Might as well, since the bus has been coming late and shifting everything so that I get to work half an hour later...if I leave early enough and walk to the metro, I won't have that problem.  And I got new sneakers yesterday, so I can wear them while I'm walking to the metro. 

Damn, it's so easy to make me happy sometimes.  I'm excited about sneakers.  Eh, I'll take that.
