FORTUNATELY the missing shoe is not the one that was on my foot.
Yeah. My "wear sneakers to the work and then change into the only pair of comfortable non-tie shoes I own" plan didn't go so well, namely because I carried the shoes in a plastic bag. Until one of them fell out, at which point I was carrying just one shoe in a plastic bag. I guess I'll call the MTA tomorrow to see if anyone turned in a shoe.
At least I don't have to worry about someone stealing it. What the hell would anyone do with one shoe?
