I live in the city, not suburbs or exurbs or country. At least we now know (probably) what's been eating the tender leaves off of all my mom's tomato plants.

EDIT: we'd assumed it was a young deer, but apparently while I was out this afternoon it came back to graze in our yard with a fawn. Sadly, I'm not sure well all this will turn out--we're in the city, and deer aren't endangered so I doubt anyone would make an effort to get them back to wherever they came from/somewhere more suited to hanging out and being a deer. I think maybe we should fence in our yard, plant a groundcover that deer like to eat and get rid of our lawnmower, but I don't think that's happening.
