Dear Miriam I hope your feeling better. I noticed your icon changed away from the meat grinder.
sorry if I put that food item in the wrong post for you--having good luck with food always cheers me up--I was hoping it might've helped you as well.
well, I don't know if you're still interested, but my biscuit did turn out amazingly well.
the magic is in the flour--the garbanzo bean flour has fat or something, which traps the co2 from the baking soda.
I just put in flour, cold water, and b.s. and cooked it on 480 for 20 minutes, or until the fire alarm went off.
then I felt woozy and started to lose consciousness, after I layed down in bed. but the big fire alarm outside, on the outside of my neighbor's house started ringing very loudly.
Kind of embarassing.
I met my neighbor for the first time, that morning, as I staggered outside. He seemed like a nice a guy.
Anyway, after the fumes had cleared that morning, about an hour later , I removed my foil package from the oven. It was *great*. Like cornbread or something. I highly recommend it.
