Date: 2007-07-22 06:58 pm (UTC)and the odd thing is that i'd be fine with firing a gun at a gun range on a regular occurence or not too regular occurence, but i wouldn't own my own gun. same deal with say a bow and arrow.

Date: 2007-07-22 07:07 pm (UTC)Shotguns have to be aimed (at indoor distances a "moderate" (which is standard) choke will cause a pattern spread of less than 3 inches at 30 feet.
The are also harder to manage in enclosed spaces, and easier to have taken away.
