Please, please tell me they meant "de-wormed" rather than "deformed." Although the latter does kinda reflect how I feel about people breeding dogs to be that size. Why? WHY?

Speaking of those doodads which enable you to hook an mp3 player up to a car stereo using the cassette player...

...have any of you guys used any enough to recommend or not recommend specific brands or models?  They're pretty inexpensive, as things go, so I'd like shop around for one that'll give good sound quality.

And no, I don't actually have the car yet, or insurance, but, y'know....I'm excited.

I've really, really been wanting to title a post (any post) "Bitchin', not bitching" but that seems a little too corny, even for me.

Aaaand--awesome:  the car repair class I've been meaning to take doesn't begin til mid-February (when I'll already have my car), and it ends at the end of April, before my cousin's wedding.  Whee.

It's snowing.  I'm hyper-anxious 'cause I haven't gotten anything done today, save washing some dishes and buying & freezing some tofu for a dish I'm gonna make (in great quantity, hopefully) tonight.  I'm also anxious about the whole car-purchasing bit, which is annoyingly tricky for a bunch of reasons involving insurance and inspections and today being Sunday (hence most insurance and inspection places aren't open) and the car not being very close to where I live.

I guess I should go buy ginger and scallions now.  That'd be minorly useful.  It seems like Geico lets you sign up for insurance online, so maybe I'll go with that so that I can bring the car home tomorrow if it passes inspection.  I can always switch companies later.
