what is the opposite of impending doom?

That's what I feel right now.  Sometimes I have this feeling of impending doom, sorta, which tends to have very little to do with reality.  Right now I have zero of that feeling.  It's not that I think something amazingly fantastic is imminent, just no shitty background anxiety. 

I'll take that.  Heck, I'll take two.

Nick Drake is pretty good.  Soft, but nice as background music.  Wikipedia describes his music as "autumnal,"  which isn't in the dictionary (as anything other than "pertaining to Autumn") but somehow describes it pretty well.
