balmofgileadI've been thinking about taking the light rail to work rather than driving, since there's a station about a block from the office, but...I hate to say it, but I like the freedom of having a car. I like not worrying about what to do if public transportation doesn't come on time, or a I miss it. I like having a place to stash my stuff during the day if I want.
I guess if I'm only taking the lightrail and am driving to the lightrail station, I don't need to worry too much about the train being late--if it's too late, I can just get back into my car and drive to work. But I have ingrained loathing of public transportation at this point.
