Why does Dick's Sporting Goods online charge sales tax on items shipped to just a few states, including California, when California is one of the few states they *don't* have stores in?  Usually the guideline is that if the company has bricks-and-mortar stores in a state then they charge sales tax for items shipped there, otherwise they don't.

Huh, you're right, they must not have updated it. Weird. Although that's the only one in CA, it seems, none in the bay area.

The sales tax thing is still weird, though...there are other states they have stores in where they have no sales tax.
